MLB: SOTO SHUFFLE

El Alfa x Foreign Teck - Soto Shuffle
Few sights in baseball are more terrifying for a pitcher than Juan Soto stepping into the box, locking in from 60 feet 6 inches away. A generational talent, his elite patience, discipline, and eagle-eyed vision have turned him into one of the greatest hitters of all-time. Even scarier is the moment pitchers see Juan settle in, shuffling his feet and hips as he breaks out the fan-favorite “Soto Shuffle” — his aura-backed PSA to opponents that his confidence, power, and otherworldly instincts will overpower whatever comes his way.
What’s more menacing than that?
Hearing the pulsating dembow beat raise the decibel and energy levels inside Yankee Stadium to a fever pitch, as 52,000 raucous fans inside Yankee Stadium chant along to a custom-made walk-up anthem in celebration of Juan and his signature ‘Soto Shuffle.’ So we made that nightmare a reality for pitchers.
Building on the growing fandom surrounding Juan’s signature ‘shuffle’ and the ever growing interest in player walk-up music, we linked up with multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated duo El Alfa and producer Foreign Teck – two fellow Dominicans and die-hard Yankee fans – to create an anthem in ode to the Shuffle, flexing a competitive edge unique to baseball in one of the coolest, most unexpected ways.
And the results surpassed even our wildest expectations.
Released just in time for the Yankees' epic postseason run, the streets made this track explode in culture. Besides the overwhelmingly positive reception enticing Soto to make it his Postseason walk-up song, fans made the song surge in Shazam and Google searches, become one of Reddit’s hottest searches and an adoptable meme format, get covered by the likes of Complex and Team Dominican, and even appear on some Spotify Wrapped reports.
