To launch the 2023 NWSL season, Nike wanted to celebrate the league’s style: aggressive and fast.

So, while the film’s picture shows an attack on a defensive style of play, “parking the bus,” the original recording raises the attitude.

We took the sweet, innocent, children’s song of “Wheels on the Bus,” and ran it through the filter of the league: badass and unforgiving.

And we tapped a female-led, punk/rock band, Starcrawler. They made the track “not nice.”
